Have Questions?
Planning Your Day at The Pavilion
How long do we have access to The Pavilion?
Your rental includes a full 24 hours of access, beginning at 11:00 AM on the day of your event and ending at 11:00 AM the following morning. All personal items, décor, and vendor belongings must be removed from The Pavilion by the end of your rental period.
Can we schedule a tour of The Pavilion?
Yes! If you’ll be visiting the Outer Banks and would like to see The Pavilion in person, please contact us to schedule a tour. Call 252-473-3906 ext. 3 or email events@fishpiratescove.com.
Can we serve alcohol at our wedding or event?
Beer and wine are fine to serve and do not need a permit! However, liquor does require a “special occasions license” from the ABC website. Check with your caterer first, as most carry a permit of their own.
Is event insurance required?
Yes. We require a liability insurance policy for the day of your event, with Pirate’s Cove Marina & Pavilion LLC listed as an additional insured. Your homeowners or auto insurance provider may be able to provide coverage if they do business in North Carolina. Event-specific insurance is also available through online providers.
Can our guests stay at Pirate’s Cove?
Yes! Pirate’s Cove offers vacation homes and accommodations within the community, making it convenient for you and your guests to stay close to The Pavilion. Pirate’s Cove Realty handles vacation rentals within the community and can provide information about available properties.
How do we officially reserve the Pavilion?
Once you receive your proposal, you’ll have two weeks to sign the agreement and submit a 50% non-refundable deposit. Both are required to officially reserve your date. If they are not received within the two-week period, the date will be reopened for other events.
